Happens on ATi cards. There is no fix.

Sounds like a video driver or some visual or video editing sofware needs to be re-installed or "uBpdated" (updated)? ;)

Is this a new problem or something you just learned to live with, until now? If it was just T2 I would think something else like the skins and stuff, but if its affecting any and all screenshots... hmmm.

I'd check ATI's list of FAQs, do a search on microsoft.com on screenshots for faqs and or updatefor software and hardware.

Since I got my first 9700 Pro I had the same problem, and that was a few years ago. Now I have an x800 Pro, and I have the same problem.

With any screenshots or just T2 screenshots, because I have an ATI, I believe it's a 9600 (I'm at work) but my screenshots (T2 or any) are fine. I haven't tried the Pizza Admin hud that Squeegie was talking about. Could be the higher end cards, but that's weird.

Only time I see solid aqua green was when I was running Cucusoft video converter (piece of junk) and it couldn't recognize the video file.

It's probably some Direct X settings conflicting, I remember forced antialiasing rendered a black screen out of game on any ATi card.

you know i have an ati card also, At first i was having the same problem with my screen shots, now, I just use the shift and the print scrn button to take a screenie, but as far as my pizza mod, i dont have it set up to take shots anymore. I have not used that function in a while. No help from me here I guess.

try to switch to directx and see if it still happens i have a hunch it might be with that i was told that ATi had/may still have shotty opengl coding but ive also heard its being improved in the patches and if your using directx then switch to opengl to see if it happens,

In game, select settings, then video, switch between D3D and OPENGL, might wanna make sure your version of directx is current too.

Bump...

Got something off the EW site:
Quote:
Dunna, the screen shot thing is well know to ati t2 players. The fix is to run ati tray tools to ss or use fraps to do a screenie. No other way other than those, far as I know.

My 9700 is giving me fits. Dunno if it's because I've tried about 5 different drivers and never get them entirely cleaned out or what. Some maps are fantastic, some are crap. The stock maps run great, mostly, but the famous ati fog in opengl problem becomes very apparent on non stock/poorly executed maps. On a good map I can get more than 300fps, but have vsynch enabled at the lcd's ref rate of 75. Sometimes it crawls at 30 and is unplayable. I need a better card. Might just go back to the gf4ti as nvid does ogl right. Plus T2 has nvid proprietary vid card calls.. nice huh.
I'm not really a techie, but the ATI does give you a command center to change some settings around. I'm gonna fool around with this pizza admin hud too, we'll get it figured out. ;)
