What internet speed tier do you guys have?
I am currently on comcast infinity 25mbps. I am thinking of upgrading to the 105mbps tier. do you think its worth it? it is 12$ more a month $78 vs $66

Don't upgrade to extreme 105, you will never ever ever reach those speeds.

If you want to upgrade to a better comcast speed the highest you should go for your dollar is the 50mb/s connection. And even then you'll probably hit 50mb/s like once ever.

I don't have experience with Comcast as an ISP but I have friends that have higher speed packages with Comcast that get the advertised speeds.

In our area we don't have a 50mbps option.
the offerings are 3 mbps for 39$ 6 mbps for 49$ 25mbps for 66$ and 105 mbps for 78$ with the current 25mbps that I have i routinely hit 23-24 mbps wired and wireless. I changed to the 105mbps today. I will let you know what speeds I get once I test it tonight. I turned in 2 receivers that I was no longer using that cost me 6.50 each ($13) and the upgrade to the 105 cost $12.. so I ended up with faster internet and saved a dollar per month...
plus there is a 30 day trial period at no cost.

Sounds like a good deal to me! I'm jealous where I'm located I can only get 10mbps dsl

ran speedtest several times. the lowest was 93 down and 10 up. the highest was 123 down and 12 up. needless to say I am a happy camper!!

I have comcast infinity 25mbps, but for several months now I've been avg 40-43mbps down 18-20up... it's great!
