Was checking out my activity report on Xfire, and noticed they had a list of most often played games. This list is a total of cumulative hours played by Xfire users (at least, games played while Xfire is on). World of Warcrack of course is #1, Call of Duty 4 was #2 by half as many hours (+12k vs +6k I believe), and from there it was 3k hours or less. on a whim, I took a look for Tribes.

Format is: Game/Hours Played/ Rank
Tribes: Vengeance 191 #270 Irrational Games VU Games
Tribes 2 22 #576 Dynamix Sierra Entertainment

For comparison, Everquest, the original and its expansions, had 1150 hours played, ranked 120. Entropia Universe, a free online MMORPG where in-game credits can be converted into cash, has 1549 hours and ranked #95. Stronghold 2, a simple RTS game set in Medieval Times, has 245 hours and ranked #248. Alien vs Predator 2 has 515 hrs and is ranked #178. Postal 2: Share the Pain has 114 hrs and ranked #337, Red Faction with 37 hours, ranked 495, and X3: Reunion has 228 hours played and is ranked 253. And to end these rankings, Half-Life, with expansions Blue Shift and Opposing Force, has 409 hours and is ranked 199. Tribes 2 rose so high long ago and now is so low.

I don't know... when I play T2 I turn X-Fire off, the notifications get annoying.

But your right, T2 is no where near as popular as it was!
