Okay. I'm just wondering about this essay I gotta write. I need to answer this question:
"Who in your opinion is a great "unknown" hero of computer and/or Internet technology?"

I was thinking maybe the creator of Linux, the Mac, or maybe someone from AMD/Intel. Any favorites that you'd like for me to write about?

I was going to point you to a book (In the Beginning Was the Command Line by Neal Stephenson) or a movie (Revolution OS) to find those unsung heros, but you probably can't get ahold of those by the time the paper's due, huh?

What about an opensource/freeware pioneer, like Linus Torvalds, or Richard Stallman?

ok real deal i dont know the facts on this but i went to school with a guy named Scot Jockers. He was a real nerd ,and he died at a young age early 20's,when i seen his obituary it stated that he was a multi millionaire,living in seattle.His money was in computors,this was around the time of gates .Since i mess around with computors and that just sticks in my mind because it was possible he was in bussiness with gates and Allen
