It's using wine though, so it's likely to take a bit of a performance hit.

I'm gonna test it on my box though and see how it is.

Cedega is running my server rather nicely. I dont trust an unconfigured wine installation to do it alone. My game box -- Gentoo 2004.2 -- runs the game without any slowdown or performance hit either, for those interested.
