I could see a good anime-esque movie taking the Tribes universe and providing a good story... however it would probably miss the finer points of the action-packed tactics involved... the movie can't be about CTF obviously... haha

I never thought about anime. Actually it could work.
Perhaps if weaved into the flag was some material containing data that would make capturing the enemies flag a strategic or tactical asset. Or the tribes would send rampaging squads to steal each others flag, to embarass and to break the enemies spirit.

And prolonged use of the spawning array causes mental defects and some players find out about the cover up about this information. But they still must play even though they know with every kill they are causing irreparable damage to the other players.
