An interesting new game, World in Conflict came out in beta today. It is a team-based RTS with ranking. Unlike most RTSs you can jump in and out of games in progress and I guess it's really different. You can get the beta download and learn more here: http://www.worldinconflict.com/main/

Art of War Central is hosting ranked beta servers, so be sure to hop on one of our servers. If there's interest here I may be able to put up an RD server, but I'll have to check with the developer.

It's developed by Massive games, but agreed big bad VUG is the publisher.

same can be said of EA and all other non indie companies. We live with it or go indie :S

man, we have become spoiled with highspeed Internet. I remember back in the day when i would spend 20+ hours downloading stuff with my 56k connection. My mom was not too pleased when she found out i was tying up the phone line for so long.

Mach, I love the game I have around 14 people joined the division already. Clan already setup, and scrimming. What I was wondering is how we get a server in this game? Is there a beta serverside? Our is this going to be a lame ranked thing where only certian hosts can do this. If the game is anything like the BF series and have to pay extra for rank, it will bound to fail. BF series game are fun, but the rank system is really stupid. Becomes a testerone party, instead of a game. This is be the deciding factor on if we get a server or not.
