I thought they were going to be using the Torque Shader engine which to my knowledge is the next generation engine. SO it would be like an updated better, faster, prettier T2 engine...

TSE is the same engine as the torque, but with pixel shaders avaialbe.. so yep, your correct

TSE is Torque completely evolved...It's not quite the quality of something like UT2k3 or whatever, but it has all the cool features of the old torque with lots of changes, new effects, rendering techniques, bump maps, etc.

ok.. i never played starsiege.. but let me get this strait.... they are going to Make the new one where it plays like a new Tribes game? or is it gonna be Mech based?

both...sorta...the game is about mechs, but you can get out and do other stuff on foot, get into vehicles, etc.
