Obviously, the banks and credit card companies are to blame for our out of control identity theft problem and nothing is being done to fix the problem.

This is why I always burn all my credit card applications in a fire that is no less than 1500ยบ and then flush portions of the ashes down each of the different drains in my house

then use Liquid Plumber Foaming Pipe-snake to make sure the ashes are gone

then move to a new address

only then is your identity safe

I was shocked that shredded applications are the jigsaw puzzles of choice for our meth addicted citizens. So if shredding isn't enough and they'll accept questionable returned apps that are nothing more than a sheet of scotch tape; choda's method is sadly our only sure way... just don't run out of matches or lighters.

Ironically, the banks and cc companies are more than happy to sell us "fraud protection / insurance" for an extra fee. Anyone with 1/10 of a brain can see that every bank should be providing such services for FREE to each and every customer. Idenity theft is primarily their fault. No one else should get shafted with that bill - THEY OWN IT.

Why hunt moose anyway? We're just big, slow, dumb, and make for easy kills...oops.

Probably strip schreded but that's not the real issue; the fact that they would accept a taped up application, process it and send a card... that's insane!

Hey I used to live next door to that guy in Sacramento. Like, really, right next door, for 5 years. Never a dull moment...
