I got kicked off TS last night (disconnected) while playing T:V, though it only happened late at night and not earlier in the day.

Still having the map loading problem.

Whenever I entire the game, I let it sit for a few seconds and then I don't lock up. Or at least that's been my success. I've only locked up once and that was on Cavern while swinging from the roof.

I think the TS issue is with branzone. We are supposed to switch over to their new TS server, but I tried last night and could not connect. This was after getting terminated from the current TS server (the one we've been using recently).

I think I recall some discussion about health packs. Even Kraska saying something like "they give you too much health". I have yet to figure out how to use my health pack. What is the original keybind for them???

There is no keybind Moose...they drop off a dead body. You can then run over them and pick them up...I actually like that system a lot.

So how are they used (health kits)? Not referring to a repair pack....just the health kit.

There aren't any health kits only the repair patches that drop from player after they die, you 'use' them by running over them.

yarduty I'm refering to the circle of stuff that players drop when they are killed/force spawn/drop from server. In this small circle are:
  • weapons (Spinfusor, grenade launcher, burner, etc)
  • Hand grenades
  • Health patch (I call it a health patch because it functions similar to the T2 health patch)
  • Pack (Energy, repair, shield, etc)
  • Any deployables that they were carrying
To get the grenades, deployables, and/or health patch you simply walk/run/ski over them. The health patch is imediately applied if needed. You can tell if you get the health patch because it dissapears from the ground, and a small green line appears in your health bar signifying the amount of health you will get from the patch, as it fills up.

To pick up the weapons or packs you must stand on top of them and press the 'USE' key (Defaults to 'F'). When picking up weapons, whatever weapon you are currently holding is switched out for the one you are picking up. Packs are switched as well. (Not the most articulate sentence I have ever written.) Anyway if anyone needs help with the basics talk to me if you see me online or PM me here.

It was working again yesterday. Yes, we have an irc chatroom that can be accessed by Mirc or Pirch, or similar software, or through Vengeance. Our room is simply rd. So in the place where you'd write your message, type: /join #rd

That should get you there.

Unfortunately, IRC doesn't like the <=RD=> tags, so you have to switch to a name with no tags to chat.
