This is the last weekend here for fishin for salmon along the american river!
There are so many in the water u could prlly walk across them....not to mention that water is low.
If u had a good dog he could just grab your dinner for ya! rofl :P

the weather started getting rough my tiny ship was tossed but if not for the courageous skipper ,lol n/m

weather was real bad we had rain going horizontal, cold brrr no fun,only 4 fish all too small :?

That reminds me gotta take my pony out along the american river, maybe next weekend! I remember seeing all those salmon last year out there, big suckers!!

ive heard the american river was a good white water river too,is it a fork of the sacromento river?

Yes, good white water rafting, and good trail riding. The American meets up with the Sacramento right downtown, and from there it flows out to the San Francisco Bay.

Yes it does,I think there are 3 forks of the american river.

Bout 5 miles downstream is where it runs into the discovery park!
the confluence of the Sacramento River!
