Going to a George Carlin show at a historic theatre here in town tonight. Should be on for some 2142 fragging, but it wont be until late I would guess!

I'm envious. I want to grab some tickets before he stops touring all together, he's not getting any younger.

I was rather disappointed with this show. George's act in recent years has pretty much been reduced to anti-religeous rantings, among other anti-stuff that I wont go into. Not that Im real religeous... but I am a person that believes.

George used to have shows that made me laugh from start to finish, now... there's a few laughs, and a lot of..... "what...????"

He says right at the start that the show is nothing but his opinions, and if you dont like them then..... you know what. I can deal with that, but I feel kind of stupid for paying $90 to hear the ramblings of a worn out comedian who cant seem to find humor in anything but other peoples faith.

All in all tho.... I guess Im glad I went, the Embassy Theatre here in Fort Wayne is an awesome historic venue, that makes you feel like you stepped into a time machine or something. They dont build em like that anymore... thats for sure!

He's not in his prime, that's for sure. But he's still one of my favorites, merely because I agree with just about every thing he says.
