I anticipate taking the forum offline for 2-3 hours in the next few days in order to do the calendar upgrade. Please be patient when this occurs, knowing that I am working as fast as possible to get it back going.

As a result of the calendar upgrade, I have temporarily FORCED everyone back to the Solaris theme. I need a feel of who is trying to use other themes, and which ones they are using. Please PM me with this info. If enough people are using another theme or two, I can work on upgrading them. Otherwise, I am not fixing 10-12 themes for one or two users...sorry.

Solaris and subSilver are both updated at this point.

i was using subsilver, but just because i was too lazy to change it back after we had that problem with the solaris theme about a year ago

Forum was taken offline for ~30 minutes last night to upgrade from phpbb version 2.0.17 to 2.0.18. These code upgrades appear to require a new cookie to be written after the change, so it is likely you will each need to re-logon at your next forum visit.

There is still one more upgrade to go to get the forum up to the current version (2.0.19). This one should go faster than last nights since I have now performed an upgrade, know and understand the process.

Please contact me with any problems or issues. I will also work on templates next week, to allow use of both subSilver and Solaris. If there is a 3rd or 4th template that people really like to use, let me know. However there is no way I can upkeep more than 3 or 4 total templates...

The 2.0.18 upgrade is to the basic forum operation code, which is like security and performance improvement - no real end user feature updates that i know of. Think of it like a "windows security patch" - important to have and keep up to date, but bothersome to deal since the end user cannot see a difference.

Upgrade to php 2.0.19 was completed tonight. Again, no changes that end users can see. Some security updates by phpbb and new options for site admins. 2.0.19 is the latest release, so the forum code is now current. Will put "templates" on my list to work on next.
