I was impressed with the steeler's performance, but I must say that I was pretty bored with that game. Neither team has interested me much, but the steeler's impressed me.

That game was rather boring...except the second quarter wasn't too bad. Charlie Batch didn't do too bad (that's his name right?). Chambers sorta pissed me off though, so did Caulpepper (spelling?).

Daunte Culpepper has never impressed me, he's one of those quarterbacks that has the arm and acquracy to make first string but doesn't have any "MOJO"! The stuff that wins games; that knows which call to make in crucial situations... YUCK!

Cowboys... sheesh, they fell for the illusion of T.O.'s athletic ability and will suffer the consequences! I almost feel sorry for Bill Parcells and Jerry Jones!

Bill Parcells has dealt with the likes of Keyshawn (Meshawn) Johnson and Lawrence Taylor... compared to them TO is in the kiddie pool for attitudes :). I think they'll do fine with him... but as for the Cowboys team, I don't think Bledsoe can carry them deep into the playoffs... I think they have a chance to win that tough division, we won't be seeing them in Miami come February.

As for Daunte, he was at one time second to only Peyton Manning in the league (granted, he did have Randy Moss... but someone had to get him the ball...). I'd rather have Daunte over countless other QBs in the league today (I think I can only name 4 or 5 I'd rather have... if that). He has far and away the biggest arm in the league... once he gets settled back in from that knee injury I think we'll see him light up the field again (maybe not this season of course... who would expect someone to return to their former self so quickly after shredding the 3 major ligaments in their knee).

Ren, you made some good points about Dante... but Keyshawn and Lawrence loved to play ball, that was the difference. They'll talk the talk, walk the walk and get in trouble with the law and aggitate their franchise but they wanted to play ball. TO would rather have a mic and TV camera in his face, he thinks he's media savvy and will find discontent in a lockeroom and make it breed. He has a ton of talent, but his ego is uncontrollable which makes his potential mute. Until the whole franchise realises what a malignant virus that young man carries and cuts him out, the maddness he caused in Philly and Sanfrancisco will only continue.

Philadelphia has only had one other player that single-handedly caused a meltdown of an season and lockeroom, and that was Randell Cunningham. It took Randell a long time to work his way back up to a starting quarterback position and sadly his best years as a quarterback were lost. Fortunately he learned his lesson, and stopped making excuses and realised that football is a team sport, regardless who gets a bigger paycheck, or who calls the plays.
