Ahhhh

I just got told that I am going to Alaska on the 23rd for work

I have business until late on the 25th, but then I am free and planning to spend the weekend up there

anyone been to the Anchorage/Kenai area?
What could I do by myself up there?

I was thinking about maybe doing some cool day-hikes... i dunno

Help!

where are these trails you mention?

I am not in terrible shape, I was thinking I could handle a day hike of about 5-8 miles or so.

How long of a drive is it from Anchorage to Denali?
I was looking at some of the trails in Chugach state park... ever been there?

I will only have Friday/Saturday for free time so I can't go out of control with different locations

fishing is good but ive never fished around anchorage. about that park you mentioned, no clue. if you only have a couple of days though i would go up flat top, its touristy and fun and the view from the top is better than any other hike. i dont know how to get ya there, but i think if you search online for it a bit you could probably find it.
