me and a friend are going infor a website (we already have one but the old name no longer applies to what we are using it for)

he wasnts it to be www.woodenogre.com, woodenogre was the name we used for the 'production" company we used for a crappy cartoon maker we used to play around with back in the day. I don't like the ane now as it's wierd and because it has nothing to do with the crap we used to make, so nobody will get it.

So if anyone has a idea for a good .com name suggestions would be appreciated.

Need info on the purpose for the new site name. Are you making cartoons, graphical endevors, videotography, animation, production, storage, e-commerce, etc, etc.

There really is no point other then to have some webspace, although I do plan to have a page for my racing team (apperently hitnrunracing.com isn;t acceptable for my friend), and im likely to offor space for various tribes (although again if the name was specific to what im doing he'll probably not like it)

get 2 domain names and just share the hosting

Thats a good idea! I've had to live with woodenogre.com for the mean time, we had to get it going before I moved, but that a definate option for the future, I never even thought of that.

I'm actually going through with this now. I lived with the prior domain name, but now I'm doing a study gauging the benefits of using message board in a classroom setting (so students can get help and information after school, etc). The problem is I want a name that is both educationally/teacher appropriate while also not lame.

other then lame mrkidd.com (kidd is my last name), the only other thing I've been able to think of is maverick-ed.com, so the slogan would be 'thinking outside of the education box' or something to that degree. Perhaps if that is no good then I need to consult a dictionary and find a appropriate/not lame word. Suggestions are appreciated, no homeworknazi.com

I got www.myrubberduck.net just for fun. Now I actually use it at work for testing peoples internet on their PDA's, fun stuff.
