...it sounds better.

Welcome aboard, things have "slowed down" but there's alot of us that still enjoy this game.

I'm still waiting for a suitable replacement. No other FP shooter has the depth of play and teamwork that T2 has.

TV didn't do it for me. I haven't been able to try BF2 because my video card doesn't support the game, but if Mach's already quit and others seem to be losing interest, I doubt it would capture me for long.

I have HIGH hopes for the new Starsiege release, but we shall see . . .

In the meantime; Eat, Drink, and be Merry for tomorrow Tribes 2 may die . . .

Noone has lost interest in Battlefield 2 some of us don't have the time to play together and you can say that Battlefield 2 is too team oriented you can't lonewolf if you do you will be cursing quite alot. The game rocks its just its only as fun as the server / people you play with. Now don't put too much hope into games because if you do you for the most part are always disappointed remember some ppl from tribes 1 loathed tribes 2 and loved tribes vengeance.

I'm concerned about the growing number of active T2 servers that are missing from a variety of players server list. Last night "TDP" was missing (and it had some bizarre activity within it). How many servers are actually up and running but missing from our list, and why are they "invisible" to some of us?

Well, the game is now 5 (May of 2000, right?) years old and has essentially lost all support by Sierra/Vivendi. Not that I don't want it to continue living, but its like my Quicken 2002...I was forced to upgrade it as Intuit discontinued all Internet functions for it (updating stock prices, etc.). Either continue to used an outdated unsupported half functional program, or pay the $$ for a new one.

Sad to say, in some ways Sierra should pull the master server plug...unless the can pull their head out an offer up some support (user accounts, master server issues, updater, etc.).

Not sure what brought that reply to my mind...okay, back to your regularly scheduled programming ;)!

I'm still playing BF2. In my opinion when you have a group of 5 RD people playing, it can be better than T2, but if you don't have anyone to play with, it's much worse.

T2 is still the game that held my attention the longest - I played many hours a week for 4+ years.

I dont know bout anyone else, but everyone is talking about T2. Now I play TV a lot cuz I'm still trying to get used to the turtle like speed in T2, but what happened to playing Starsiege Tribes. I mind you that was better than all 3 of them. That game still rocks and y no one seems to ever mention it an play it I think we should all take interest in that game again as it was the first Tribes form of the game. I played it bout 5 or 6 years ago for awhile and if I couldve bout my own pc at age 15 I would've but you don't make that much doing a paper route, but it would've been worth life savings to buy a pc just to play that game!!

There are a few that still play Starsiege Tribes. I just came along when Defense was being developed for T2, I missed the T1 fever. I'm just hooked on the variety of T2... the mods, vehicles, weapons and my friends that still play it.

The t2 community is STILL bigger than the vengeance community.
