Our friends on the west coast are getting hammered!

I only know a few peeps in that area... LT and Moon Pickle, Squeeg and family, Babs Lonewolf and Toe... I hope they and any I may have missed are okay!

Well, Oregon was hit hard as well, which includes MOLDY, Metalhead, Olgababy and myself. In my area the winds howled and I sat in the dark missing TV practice. I finally got power back on and caught the tail-end, but others here were still without power this morning and had cold houses and showers.

We only lost a flower pot, Metal's archery target, power for a few minutes, and a whole night of sleep lost to laying in bed listening to the wind. It was relentless, sustained 35mph with gusts over 50.

I didn't go to town, but apparently all the underpasses were closed due to flooding, and the usual downed trees. It tried to snow here, but it all just blew away...

Lady, eventhough I have your address saved in my contacts list, mentally I keep placing you and the others in California? :-? I'm glad my friends in Oregon are okay too, according to the news its the worst storm since 1993 and that was a bad one too!

Very sorry to hear that Squeeg :(

I really hope things get better for you soon.

Believe me when I say, I know what its like to lose everything you work so hard for in a matter of minutes. Its very devistating.

I wish the best for ya Squeeg and all my other friends having to deal with this mess.

Your all in my thoughts! :-)

Squeeg, that really sucks, especially about the aquariums. I have had many an aquarium over the years, and the tropical saltwater aquariums are the most beautiful.

Sorry to hear about your losses. I hope the power is back now and that you can get warm.

Same goes to all the Dawgs who got hit by this mess. I hope you are all recovering from it, have power, and are making progress towards a Merry Christmas.

Are the frequency of the storms this time of year normal or abnormal. I know the intensity is not normal but I don't remember hearing about any of you out north west having storms like these.
