Okay, Doom opens this weekend and I've been watching it on my on-line movie game. Originally it was predicted to have an opening of about $21 million. However, during the last week, when special sneak previews are shown, the predicted opening has dropped to $17 million. This may not seem like much, but normally a > 10% change in the predicted opening means the movie is quite bad. It will be interesting to see if the "computer game geeks" cause the opening to be bigger.
