I didn't forward it. I did however think it was fun, so I posted it here for a nice laugh. Looks like others enjoyed it. Sit back and chill out before you judge people or posts please.

Certainly more than 55 people can read it, and I never believed there was any university study on it. So, was it chain mail? Sure. So what - posting surely does not do a fraction of the harm that forwarding does.

It just bugs me when false "facts" are used to spread myths like this...I do, however, find interesting the research debunking myths like this (myth busters anyone?)

I couldn't disagree more. Posting in a forum does NOT equate to forwarding. Traffic generated within this forum environment is trivial compared to forwarding chain email through mail servers, growing across each new recipients email address book. There really is no comparison given the bandwidth growth of actual email forwarding, where growth is exponential based on the number of email addresses on each new distribution list.
That was a good read too. Thanks for posting it. The work supports the premise of the original text (even if its a hoax, and not entirely accurate). It goes on to demonstrate that the word choice can make it much more difficult to read.

I do enjoy Myth Busters, but do not get to watch it very often.
