OK, we had a topic on this a while ago, but it's deleted now.

They just lowered there rates and I want to do it - but I have a question. Can I just plug the phone adapter into my phone system and have it work? Apparently I need to make sure my phone line will work with it - there is a kind of phone line that will fry it.

Has anyone tried this? I would prefer not to have to purchase a new phone system if I don't have to.

Atro had Vonage in my house, although it wasn't mine. But, what I saw, was a box that looks kinda like a modem, and I'm pretty sure it plugs into the modem. Then he just had a regular old cordless phone hooked up to it, no special equipment outside of the Vonage box.
