if someone on your friends list is sending you a file that has a weird/suspicious name. I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH DO NOT ACCEPT THAT FILE! IT IS MOST LIKELY A VIRUS!

yes, usually they will just send it an then exit the program, that is the nature of those beasts!
I would just not get anything unless you knew it was comming! any .pif dont download! unless your speakin to them personally!
This is what happend to me an Snipeye!

Never accept anything unless you've been informed that our on-line friends are sending you files, and even then never accept *.exe or *.pif files unless you totally trust that person.
