Nice try, but your argument wouldn't hold up since you offered. That my friend "offering" implies consent and this consent is stored and backed up on the forum for all to see, retrieve and print when needed. Now if you wanted to get tricky. You could enter into an agreement with the owner of this website to collect a fee for each and every time one of the signatures you created appears in a reply, but the website owner could refuse to work with you.

Therin lies the "rub"! Yes, I remember saying it was time to update my sig, and you came along and "OFFERED" to make them. No compensation was requested, no charge for service was mentioned, thus the sigs (though customized for each individual and cherished) are ours, no agreement or contract was created between the parties involved. Now, any future sigs should you chose to make such an oral or written contract to "RETAIN" ownership and copyrights are a different matter... these "sigs" are ours and I thank you very much for mine!

Bad news for ya Cyn- The judge and fed will rule in Dun_Dunna's favor because he provided all the facts as well as evidence that you offered to make him a sig for his use. Especially when you started making sigs for everyone else as well....

The fact that matters is missing though, I never expressed specific permission for them to be used. I only stated that I would create them.

No matter, I'm working on my own version of Sony's malware. This time it'll just send all of your passwords, credit card info, social security number, address, home phone directly to my computer when you view any of my signatures. I then will deny it's exsistence until the media gets word of it, and then I will offer a simple apology and no recompensation for the damage I may have caused to your computer or well being.

Quick, everyone go buy infected Sony CDs and ride this baby out.

This'll go perfect with my plot to buy as many PS3's as possible, but no games or accessories. That should sink sony pretty quick, considering they're losing around $500 with each PS3 sold.
