OK Here's the situation.. My comp fried and so I just got it back.. Sorry I couldnt let anyone know cause well, I didnt have a comp and I travel so made things kind of difficult.. I have a prob though.. I downloaded vengeance on my rebuilt comp that's running windows 2000 and when I get on my screen starts flipping out.. Blinking on and off..

IM Running an All in Wonder RAdeon 8500DV Video Card

Anyways I cant play till I get this resolved so if anyone has any ideas as to how I can fix this I woud be very much in your debt...

I tried to find a setting in Vengeance for video card Open GL and couldnt see anything with all the blinking and what not so I know Im a tool but please help... lol

Do you have the latest video drivers and T:V update already installed? If not try that. Or try re-installing your video drivers or T:V itself. If that doesn't work then I don't know. =/

sounds like a vid driver issue,starting with win 2k,w2k is very finiky with drivers and a bugger to get some installed

1. T:V does not in anyway support opengl.
2. Check your video drivers.
3. See if you have V-sync enabled. If not try enabling it, if it is try disabling it.
4. Try raising/lowering you refresh rate. Make sure the new refresh rate is supported by you monitor.
5. Make sure you resolution is supported by your monitor.
6. Make sure you don't have any virus scanners running in the background. (This happened to me a couple of nights ago, my frames dropped to the mid 20's, finally I was like what the...and quit only to find my virus scanner checking every file on my comp.)

If you have tried these thing or if you are sure all these things are set properly, let me know. Also how comfortable with you computer are you? If you know what does what in your bios then check there and see if anything is set funny.

Hey All.. Gotta say sorry for not being around lately.. My comp works but is just too freakin old and slow to run tribes fluently or really at all.. I miss playing a bunch and I miss being part of the tribe and Im really sorry.. If I get a new comp or get some things up graded Ill let yuou all know.. I cant even get the maps to work right.. LOL.. anyways my system sux which makes me suck and I just cant abide that.. HEH.. Hopefully I can get something soon here .. Lady, Ganksta and Moldy, Yo thanx for allowing me to play with ya all...
