Yes, my school managed to take down Purdue. Double overtime, what a game. It held up my daughter's wedding, but all is good.

Purdue sucked. And thank goodness that Tiller is leaving. The Purdue offense made so many bad play calls, like NOT going for the first down on 4th and 1, and in decent field position. If he did go and got it, the momentum from that would possibly have carried on into the 2nd half. The offense just looked TIRED after the 1st quarter. I'd like to say good game, but it wasn't in my opinion. Oregon looked both tired and sloppy, and Purdue was Purdue against ranked opponents (haven't beaten one in 5 straight years).

FYI: Heat stroke and other heat-related casualties during that game was numerous, especially in the first half. Stadium Rescue Squads were kept busy, especially in the student section, in providing first care and bringing the victims to First Aid rooms for A/C and cold water. Floks- where are you sitting at? I'd like to finally meet ya in person.

Why Shreve? I hang out there once in a while. Was a BGR TL for them there, I was the guy holding up the first aid sign as my freshmen finder.

Before 11PM or 7PM, yes, guys can go in there. But they can only stay in the main lobby. Up or down the stairs, they need to have a female escort. Or just be really handsome and then they can get away with it a few times (like I have).

Well, as a few of you might know I hail from BOISE and I am a BSU alumni, and I must admit . . . the DUCKS are rockin.

Nevertheless, I'd love to see another upset yet put upon one of the LEET by the mighty BRONCO's, so Lady, I must apologize, but come this SATURDAY it's like you and me - O VS. D - all over again!

Woot!

I suspect the DUCKs could put a whooping on BSU considering our mediocre performance against Bowling Green last week, but . . . perhaps the BRONCO's just didn't want to give anything away - after all, we were up 20 to nothing at half time against the FALCON's - who cares if we didn't score in the second half - we only allowed them one touch down.

IT'S ON!

I think BSU has a shot. Oregon's QB, who was their play maker, got injured in the 4th quarter against Purdue so BSU has a chance to take advantage of. Additionally, Oregon looked SLOPPY, and they made three turnovers against Purdue, which is a team known for their offensive capabilities, not defensive. And really, Oregon scoring and winning the game wasn't Purdue's defense fault to be fair. Purdue's offense literally had several chances to score, and failed on each one. Even a field goal on any one of them would have won Purdue the game.

That sounds like the game we played. We were sloppy as well.

I am setting my expectations low - BSU has never won against the PAC-10 on the road, only at home.

This is an Oregon "Home" game and the fans won't allow the visiting team an opportunity to hear their plays. Trust me.

Yes, they have been sloppy, but generally they come back from a sloppy game and get it together for the next one. We will see if that holds. As for our quarterback, they have several in reserve as we lost our main quarterback last year and suffered the remainder of the season. They learned something from that experience.

Bring it on Pharoah. O vs D it is.

So here I am, watching the sports highlights for the evening, and I saw BSU vs Oregon. And I saw something that was AWESOME. BSU DID BEAT OREGON. Oh, and remember how I mentioned about the Oregon QB getting hurt?

"Boise St upsets Oregon 37-32
By ANNE M. PETERSON, AP Sports Writer

Buzz Up PrintEUGENE, Ore. (AP)—All those quarterback injuries finally caught up to Oregon against Boise State.

The Broncos upset the 17th-ranked Ducks 37-32 for their first victory on the road over a BCS-conference team. Redshirt freshman Kellen Moore led the way for Boise State with 386 yards passing and three touchdown throws.

“This is big,” Boise State coach Chris Petersen said. “I know Oregon had some quarterback issues and stuff, and that helped us. Even with that, you see how explosive they are. So it was great for our guys to hang on and get this done.”

The Broncos (3-0) of the Western Athletic Conference are now 3-11 against the Pac-10, with all of their victories coming against teams from Oregon (they had defeated Oregon State twice before in Boise).

The Ducks lost their projected No. 1 quarterback before the season, and No. 2 went down last week.

So Jeremiah Masoli, a junior college transfer who was Oregon’s third-string quarterback going into the season, started but left the game in the first quarter with a mild concussion."

I should get paid for my predictions.

Yes you did call it on this one. It was a good game though, from what I hear. I didn't get to watch it.
