My wife is flying down to hell, er, I mean New Orleans to help with relief efforts. She will be taking over some duties at a kitchen feeding 5,000 people a day. This kitchen is woefully understaffed and has been operating with only a 4 man crew.

She is flying down with all her clothes and belongings in a backpack just so she can stuff more essentials for the victims in her 2 alotted suitcases.
Those 2 suitcases will be stuffed with femenin hygene products and pedialyte (the 2 most needed things at this time).

If anyone wants to chip in some money for the pedialyte or femenin products she would much appreciate it. Just e-mail me and I'll give you her paypal address. She is leaving late tomorrow so donate today, not tomorrow.

I can't paypal for another week or so. I currently am transitioning institutions and the money takes 3-5 days to clear in paypal for whatever reason.

One possiblity is to find out who manufactururs pedialyte and spam them to send a million units to New Orleans, get a pettion going or something.

I know Bush has pretty much abanoned the people of New Orleans.

Don't worry about it then. This is a last minute thing and she's scrambling behind the scenes to get this done, I'm doing my part right now by asking my friends on all the forum boards I visit to help us out.
