That is the whole concept of BF2 - CTF, but not exactly the same as T2 or TV. There are 4-8 flags in a map. They are each "captured" by securing the area for an amount of time. A single soldier will take much more time to capture the flag than 3-6 together in a squad. Once the flag is captured, it must be defended or the opposing team can recapture it.

I'm trying to remember which T2 game style is like this...I think it is capture and hold.

The purpose of the flag in BF is spawn points. If a side captures all the flags and holds them. there is no place for the oppossing team to spawn. Game ends very quickly. We get around that sometimes. You can spawn on your Squad leader if he is still alive. If Squad leader is dead but somebody in the squad is still alive, squad leader drops out of squad for a second and it will make the next in line leader. Then you can spawn on himer. By this time it is pretty much a lost cause.
