Matternet will revolutionize transportation using networks of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Matternet is using lightweight, electric UAVs capable of transporting 2kg packages between automated landing stations. The vehicles fly autonomously and identify, land and dock on landing stations that alllow them to swap batteries and loads without human intervention.

This new transportation network is the most energy-efficient way to solve the last mile delivery problem in cities and in remote rural areas, especially areas where roads are not efficient or not well-developed.
