If you don't get CGW, then you might not know about this game. It's a MMOFPS. Sounds kinda cool.

Mach, you should work in PR for the gaming companies! I think you got about a dozen people to buy BF2 and now you're hawking Huxley. I get CGW and it does look cool...I was hoping they had a beta on the DVD!

Another CGW note, did you see the article on the new gaming engine by the three guys in their basement (garage?)? Now that looks cool and I would be willing to try out their game, once they get a publisher.

I did read that article on the new engine. I also had high hopes for PlanetSide and that didn't turn out so well. I'm generally opposed to paying monthly fees, so I'll probably only buy it if there's no monthly fee. The clan support sounds very cool, get your own building and all that kind of stuff.

Games have been claming that sort of stuff for over 4 years... not one (of the ones that didnt cut the feature by release) has had it implimented in a way that actually was of any value

I cant find much info on the game... any IGN vidoes i try to watch show me a commercial but then dont play the actual movie.

1up.com is associtaed with CGW, they may have some stuff. The CGW article is pretty big and detailed.

The game has sort of a social area where you can hang out and shop for new weapons and have a clubhouse if you clan has enough power. Apparently if your clan gets big enough you can control certain sections of the city. You can go on quests and you can level up, but the leveling up wouldn't be that powerful, sort of like Battlefield maybe. Then you can get involved in big fights as well. It sound complex, but the Korean place that's developing it is a pretty big outfit.

They specifically said that they hadn't decided on pay to play yet. Hopefully the success of Guild Wars will convince them on the no pay side.

but the reason why guild wars was a success is because the users host their own world when they walk out of the districts unless they pull that off it will most likely be p2p
