Honestly i think the startegy is just as intense if not more then warcraft 3 u got so many combat style attacks to choose from and stances in which every stance does omethign diff for instance as a warrior so far i have seen Battle Stance, Defensive stance and Berserk stance in which if yer in battle stance its yer norm or regular stance has pretty much mosk of the damaging attacks, if u go into defensive stance u dont do as much damage but u can do alot of defensive stuff like disarm, shield block, and some others that u cant do in any other stance which helps u take damage alot more effectivly. i htink it takes alot more skill to play wow then guildwars, cause it just felt like diablkoe 2 all over again when i played guildwars. oh and about the graphics i dont agree, if yer a die hard wc fan u should love the way they kept the WC feel about the game the style of the art and design feels like yer really in the strategy game and i love it i am not disappointed that they choose to make it more cartoony looking then realistic and i like it better this way makes playing a GAME a game andn ot feel like its another life. and nothing looks the same terrain wise except in caves thats abotu the only thing they kept reoccuring other then that no area looks the same. Ive played Dark Age of Camelot, Guildwars, EQ, UO and i cant say i hate em cause they all offered me somehting i liked in whih i played them for years EQ being the longest standing one but i can say i am happy saying that if WoW hasnt offered me all the elements that all these have i can say its come pretty dang close to it an once they put the BG's into play i can say even closer that it has fulfilled all my wishes. in this sense i am not bashing on GW i still eojoyed playing it for the most part but all i am saying is that it lacks alot of originality in the chars and it got very much like diablo 2 but it does have pretty nice graphics, so i would prol;ly get GW as a 2ndary game if i ever got bored of WoW and T:V but i might get it to play with friends and fellow tribes members as well

Personally, only those that have played both games can really comment. What I would also like to see is that gamespot has a head-2-head match between GW and WoW like they did for WoW vs EQII.

That's the problem though, GW is quite different from your average MMORPG -- it's based around team play. Even PvP is done in teams of 4 or more, and many of the PvE missions/quests require other players, whether they are real or the in-game henchmen (ai players). Either way, seeing how T2 is a very team-based game, GW wins over WoW just for that fact.

So far, i've gotten about 3 or 4 other people to buy the game, and we've had great fun grouping together to finish quests.

uBp has a guild in WoW stop in and say hello. I say WoW is a better choice for eye candy.

Both are fantastic games.

hey, I agree fully there, however the gameplay is messed up in T:V, also in my opinion GW has better gameplay than WoW, but that's just my opinion, however, he said WoW looks better, but I know for a fact it doesn't, even though graphics dont make the game.

What's funny about guild wars is that it only requires a 800mhz machine and 32bit graphics card, yet it looks soooo nice. I mean, look at these:

i own guild wars im not saying gw is horrible i like wows gameplay better because wow has alliance versus horde wars all the time in GW you have what 4 to 8 peeps in a party and you go in your own little world or do pvp with 4 to 8 peeps when in wow you can have raids and go take over an alliance city, or village if anything guild wars needs teams because if not. You are virtually the only person questing in that world of yours. It has many good things and bad for one its boring when your all alone yay you dont get ganked oh well? that can be fun and it sometimes might not be what if you want to gank someone back. WoW has territories where horde has to attack alliance to enable the alliance to be able to hurt the horde then there is contested territory where anyone can hit anyone and then alliance hitting horde to enable horde attacking alliance. So yes GW may have some good points but to me its boring.
