1) I'm jealous
2) Howd you get it to be a 3-screen desktop?
3) What hardware you running?
4) Did I mention I'm jealous? Help a RD brother out and gimme one monitor so I can have my own dual-monitor set up.
i'm running 2 off of a radeon 9800. 1 is connected to the normal VGA output and the other is connected to the DIV output with a DIV-VGA adapater.
the third monitor is connected to an old school voodoo 3 2000. it has 8 mb or ram i think
its not powerful, but it does the job
I have it set up so it works as one giant screen. Imagine that the bars between the monitors arn't there. The desktop background image is 3072x768 pixels ...
If i want to move a window from one monitor ot another, all i have to do is drag. Its the best investment i've ever made for my computer. It really enhances its useability.
The other mode beggin is thinking of allows your monitors to act like 2 separate computers. I'm not sure how to set that up, but i dont think it is as cool as what i have
Dundunna, I love that trackball. I wish i could find a new version of what i have. Unfortunatly, all of them are wireless now that i've seen. Mine is incredibly discolored. It used to be white, haha. It will be a long time before i switch to a new one.
Techfiend is the only other person i know who plays FPS games with a trackball. He has (or atleast had last i talked to him) the same one as well
