I got my operation date its aug 25th. Its only foot surgery. As some of u know I have had a broken foot for about a year now. It has broken 6 times this year. It is the bone on top that balances the foot. I have decided to just take it out all together. This will leave me always limpin for the rest of my life, but no more pain from what I hear. I will be AFK till the 26th, gettin ready for surgery and preop visits. My daughter has volunteered to babysit me till school starts, so I will be fine. After surgery expect me campin online, I will have nowhere to run then. Here is a pic of me for the peeps that will miss me for the 2 weeks im gone hehe.

Squeeg, as a seasoned veteren of orthopedic surgery, I sympathize greatly...

Might I suggest a good supply of ice packs, they help amazingly well with surgical pain. And take the pain meds every 4 hours even if it doesn't hurt. And EAT FOOD before you take the pain meds, nothing like yakking up from the pills you need the most.

And you know where I'm at if you got any questions... Sitting on my broken pelvis in the same boat you're in!!

Squeeg, I might just decide to drive up and see you. Poor thing. Let me know if you'd like some company. My aunt lives close by and I have a place to stay. So all you'd have to do is sit with your foot up and regale me with tales of Squeeg.

Sorry to hear of your foot problem but yes it does seem like something needs to be done......

Good luck and dont push things to fast, take ur meds and just kick back or NOOO!!! dont kick for gods sake!!!!! Lay back an take it easy!!!
