hey guys, just wanted to come on here and say that I'm sorry for missing practice last week Wednesday.

it was late Tuesday night when i was heading to bed from an afternoon of too much anime when it all went down.








OK, before i begin, let me tell you that i have no shame or in any way want to hide this because i just want to vent.

It was about Two in the morning and i just finished watching EPISODE 5 of "Lucky Star"






SHORT STORY
------------------------------------------

i got up and stretched as the type of rolling chair in my room gets uncomfortable when you sit in it for long periods of time.

when all of a sudden, my brother barges in the room and tells me with a surprised face.

"Bro, come outside!"

"why, whats up?" i respond after a slight yawn.

"Bro, COME OUTSIDE! the car is on fire!"

"... WHAT!?" a surprised look on my face slowly crept up like the morning sun.

we both run outside and sure enough...






the car was literally ON FIRE


we quickly called 911 and i woke up my parents.



fire department of Pembroke came down





and put the fire out quickly.

the result of the fire? i can ASSURE YOU IT IS NOT "PROFIT"










when you think you've seen it all, this helps you understand that you haven't seen it all. this has been a crazy weekend for me and my family down here in Florida.
firefighters finished their duty and left at 4:30AM and the cops decided to stay and call a tow truck to get it off the road as soon as possible.
after the car had been towed away and the cops left, it was now almost 7AM and i had summer school in the next few minutes, so i went groggy and came home
for a long nap, thus missing practice. all that's left on the road is burnt asphalt and bits of melted plastic from the incident. think you had a crazy week?
well, i bet it wasn't crazy as my week.

(before everyone starts asking, everyone is fine and no one got hurt. except for a surprised unexpected event and a
"out-of-all-the-things-that-could-happen-why-this" moment,
every one is safe and sound)

Okay, wow? What exactly caused the fire in the first place?

that my friend is a very good question. no one knows. our car insurance provider is checking it and so far after a week and a few days, they haven't contacted us yet.

but examining the evidence down the road...




a WILD RANDOM OIL PUDDLE APPEARS!

THE CULPRIT could be that the oil pump had a malfunction on the pump itself or the tubing and leaked oil over the very HOT parts of the engine. when the engine caught on fire, it didn't appear out of no-where

the car blew and sent the front end of the car up in the air about a few feet. the initial explosion broke the windshield and fire was seeping in through the hole you see above. thankfully my brother got out, he kicked the door window and climbed his way out. amazingly he is still fine

(EDIT: you know what the worst part is? how the car blew is what my brother told me. i DID hear an explosion, but i thought it was the 4th of July firework enthusiasts outside preparing for the big celebration, so i disregarded it as a massive firework from the Seminole pyromaniacs down my street.


he told me how the moment the car blew felt so surreal...


if my brother didn't get out of that car, i would still have been
inside the house.... i don't want to think about that





i should start getting out of the house more often -.-
