I have yet to locate an answer to the following problem:

When I jump into T:V and enter the Join screen, no servers show-up and it shows that there are only two players logged in . . .

I can sit there and refresh the server list multiple times and "eventually" I will get a list of servers.

What is really odd is that each time I run T:V I get disconnected from Teamspeak and in fact my internet connection is severed completely. Sometimes it comes back on its own after I shut the game off, and occassionally I have to reboot to get it back.

I have NO FIREWALLS running anywhere.

My system specs are:

P4 3.06HT processor
1.00 GB RAM
ASUS P4PE motherboard (Intel 845PE chipset)
Integrated NIC (Broadcom Netxtreme Gigabit Ethernet)
Belkin Switch
Motorola Cablemodem

If anyone has any ideas or if anyone runs across a fix in alternate sites please let me know.

Thanks!

thats really weird... your best bet would be going to the tribes talk forums at www.tribalwar.com and posting your problem there. I'm sure the Dev's would be interested in hearing it

I've investigated the site and found at least two other posts with the same problem.

I am eager to post but I am still waiting for my instructions as to verify my newly created account . . .

I narrowed my problem down to my router. To play Tribes V I have to disconnect from my router and plug directly into my cable modem. Odd - all of my other games work perfectly fine with my router.

It works fine behind my Linksys router too.

No moose hunting without a license :P! Licensing fees available by request :moo.
Why hunt moose anyway? We're just big, slow, dumb, and make for easy kills...oops.

Everyonce in a while my router/computer will not use the correct dns, or something, and I can't reconnect to any servers or view webpages... until I either restart my computer or start freenet, which for some reason fixes the problem.

Dunno what to tell you, other computers on my lan work just fine, but every day at least twice i have to either wait for it to come back or restart...

So I've started playing the Sims 2... single player > multiplayer w/o internet...

I've heard that it's good (if it is addicting!). What do you rate it on 0-10, with 10 being the highest?
