hes totally right i jsut got back into it and havnt seen any cheaters, servers dont even have DT and nobody is cheating i love it!

Squeegie, you have missed a lot of time in T2. Tribes have been sharing info and recognise speed hacks, lag hacks and some dt workaround scripts.

Reputable servers and their admins are kicking and banning suspected cheaters on sight, they aren't even wasting time asking questions or dialogue. Their will be some legitimate beefs along the way; but hey, it's nice to play with some honest peeps again.

Most of the cheating is occurring in servers with complacent or absent admins; and/or where the admins are cheating as well.

A speed hack would be so ugly no one could get away with it.
When you duel as much as i have,you know exactly how long each weapon takes to reload. its a rythme. You expect it before they click. its synchronizing. something like a speed hack would just be blinding unhidable.(har har blinding unhidable)

Don't go into the Elite Warriors server...so many HappyMod users in there... Everytime I jump up, I get sniped in the head.

It must be the elite part. Last time I checked, warriors didn't hide 600+ meters away from their enemy.

When speed hackers first became an issue "in pubs" was about a year ago. I've seen speed hack cloakers clean out an enemy base, speed hack juggies capping with a repair pack jetting faster than a scouts! I've witnessed all that in the Rebels V2 server.

At the time I think most were just figuring it out and some were just showboating. Most aren't blatant, they adjust it so they can fire slighltly faster than you and replenish their energy faster too.

I've seen Happy Mod, Happy Fog/No Fog and Lag cappers in Miami Vehicles.

Not that i dont believe you,or said anything to imply i didnt,but version2 allows you to do some crazy things. When i was playing with SoD,heavies could almost go faster then me. They could go faster then some lights i saw moving. One reason i didnt like it. They nerfed the shrikes and buffed EVERYTHING.
as for the removed fog,ya it happens. hehe a lot.

Yeah, I was about to say the same thing. In v2, it's fairly easy to heavy cap, just get the skiing down right and do a disc jump and you'll be on the other side of the map in no time. Part of the reason why I hate v2 and why FA likes it.

A Juggy "CAN" cap in V2, however their energy will not replenish faster than a light especially when carrying a repair pack. If a juggy with a repair pack can out run you on a flat surface or moving up hill without the momentum of skiing downhill, discjump, conc nades or rammed by a shrike... chances are you found a speed hack.

Speed hacks replenish energy faster, can jump higher, shoot faster, have longer "air-time" (makes splash damage and nade kills a bit harder to accomplish). It's a pain in the rear!

speed hack can make you regen quicker,possible ski faster and fire faster with reloading faster. a speed hack couldnt give you more hang time although. It'd be called something else then. just wanna keep ya honest

If a speed hack's energy replenishes faster, it will work while in the air as well... resulting in prolonged hangtime if they are marginally skilled.

Have you ever dueled someone that jetted in the air, was about to hit the ground and then had a little more airtime from conserving their enery pack? It's done all the time, but a speed hack has P R O L O N G E D energy due to the rate of replenishment.

thats a byproduct of the energy replenish,its like saying "Being able to reload faster means kill quicker". Of course it does silly!
