there will be a single player demo later in august... open beta starts sometime before that in august.... soon i hope

... i'm not sure about this, but when the NDA expires, i THINK (could be wrong here) that means that its ok to give other people the game and files... I think the NDA is the only thing stoping people from doing that. As archer said, it still requires a cd key, but Technically i don't think there is any legal action that could be taken....

Probably better off just waiting till open beta though.. it shouldn't be long now

I wasn't sure, I'd hate to see a "Dawg" get snagged. I want to play T:V, got registered to participate in the beta, but haven't heard from the manufacturer yet.

Well shoot Archer, I wondered where you were. We were there an met up with a few freinds. I asked around for you, but they were in the middle of the raffle an were not interested in lettin me wonder round to find people.
But I did just walk right in a watched a bit of T3. It looked rather cool in fact, an the hotel was great. Im sorry to hear that there were problems along the way with behavior an such. I was only there for a couple of hours an eva thing seemed ok at that time....despite being called "more non-payors" which kinda upset me cuase they dint own the place. LOL It looked like somting that I would like to try to attend on the west coast next year......we'll see, plenty of time to figure it all out!

If they have this event next year I'll attend the west coast site. It would make a good vacation as I'd make a couple weeks out of it. The farthest west Ive been is TX.

I could spend my spare time at the beach watching the ... umm waves and umm.. the sand sculptures, and stuff. Just like Florida.

If they hold it in Portland, which is where I think the plan is at the moment, you get to the beach it won't be anything like Florida. Our water is cold, the wind blows and you won't find any bikinis on the beaches since it rarely gets above 65 degrees, even in summer. But hey, don't let that slow you down from coming out.

I was just at the coast this weekend and there was a light breeze, it was 80 deg, and pleanty of bakinis. Grant you this only happens 1 - 2 times a year.

Portland = 100deg and no wind Yesterday

Coast = 78deg and 10 -15 mph wind yesterday

Its about a hour and fifteen min drive to the Pacific Ocean
