Hello to the gang, new and old.

After getting an e-mail from RD to do with the location of RD members, I decided to drop by and say hello.

It's been a long time since I last came here. Man things have changed, not to mention Tribes 2 is much more empty. (I found one of my CD's and my account still works! Though I rarely play.)

I have to say, this certainly came at an interesting time. A few days ago, on another forum, (A website where my friends and I "hang out" and is dedicated to Flash movies and games made by some of us), two of my friends where fighting an argument over... frankly I'm not sure what. But things kept getting worse, and I was reminded so much of a long time ago in my days of Tribes 2 of an incident involving me being accused of cheating. I'm sure some of you remember it :-) But instead, here I was on the sidelines, watching things progress. It was a new point of view for me, and it definately opened my mind.

I told them my story. I told them how I acted and how I went about the situation, which was much like they were doing themselves. Why? To help them see that this was the wrong way, and to get them to stop, and look at what they we're doing to eachother. I'm glad in a way, that I had gone through this experience of being accused ot cheating. It helped me a lot to prove to them how foolish and ignorant each we're being.

But this story, I hope, will have a happy ending. At the least, an ending at that. Something which never came about for me, so I think I'll take the time to do it now. I owe everyone a big apology. I can't help thinking who stupid and immature I was then. How I could only focus on what I strongly believed in, and not realize the bigger picture. I went back and read the old posts. Was it ever depressing. How did I get myself into such a mess with people I had become such good friends with? You guys we're great, honestly, I am sorry.

Man, that felt good to get off my shoulders.

Maybe I'll come play once in a while (Got DT working, yay)

Best of luck with the tribe, and I have to say: Amazing work keeping it so alive!

Flur-

It means the past is the past. The past is not the present, nor the future.

Why hunt moose anyway? We're just big, slow, dumb, and make for easy kills...oops.

Cheating is the one thing that can seriously damage a game and the people who play it. It is hard finding a line to protect against the cheating and knowing when the accusations are correct. Some people's skills are so extraordinary, that the "cheat" label can easily follow them where ever they play. It is a sad fact of the gaming community.

It warms my heart to hear you comment on it. It is obvious that a great deal of maturity has occurred during your absence. I want you to know that RD has never held any ill will. We are forever worried about keeping the game clean and protecting our reputation. Any damage we did to you is regrettable.

Thank you so much for the post. It made my day.

I don't recall posting any of my theories on the space-time continum suggesting that the Past, Present and Futur are infact the same time, but it was great for you to clear me up on that matter, CynageN.

It's good to see you too. ;)

The past may be the past, but some things never change.

:-) Nice to see a lot of old faces.

As for T:V, I don't have it. ;) (Nor do I have BF 2 for that matter)

CynageN would make a great philosopher. Combining the obvious with a statement and adding 'but' inbetween. Thus a sentence vague enough to be either taken as deep reasoning, or just a load of dingo kidneys, is born.

The less you keep adding to your point, the more curious I am to know exactly what it is.

On another note, any help that someone could offer me in finding MA Duel Mod and recent/popular map packs would be appreciated.

I'm not exactly sure what you're implying here. My first post was to meet you half way as it seems you regret what happened *in the past* within your first post, yet you seem to pick at every little thing I say as if you still have a grudge. Either way, I have neither the time nor desire to argue with you yet again.

Welcome back.
